This site was first
conceived in 1996 and was put up to provide information about
keyhole surgery, or laparoscopic surgery which was a relatively new
speciality back then. The information on this page is written by me,
Dr. Shivshankar Sastry, and has seen an increasing number of visits
over the years and I have been deluged by emails requesting advice and
opinions.
